Every farm needs dogs! Our pack of four fully participates in the joys of farm living. They, too, embody our beliefs, excelling at what they were bred to do.

Belle, Mira and Remek ─ the Vizslas ─ were bred to hunt upland game birds. They are all distinguished in AKC-sanctioned competitions:

Belle’s Victory Fire JH – Belle –– ranked in the top 10 nationally, and as high as seventh, when she was competing in field trials. Her daughter won the 2005 Vizsla Club of America’s National Puppy Stake and its 2006 National Derby Stakes.

Dobrocat’s CG Mira Belle MH – Mira –is the Vizsla breed’s first sixth-generation Master Hunter. She is a pure joy to hunt over – as are her off-spring.

CH Victory Fire’s Remek – Remek –is Mira’s son by FC AFC Bitteroot’s Stormy. As a 13-month-old, he took 4th place in the Vizsla Club of America’s 2009 National Derby Stakes. Nine months later, he finished his show championship. His two championship Majors were a 5-point Major as Best of Winners at the Conestoga Vizsla Club’s Specialty Show July 3, 2010, and a 3-point Major in Harrisonburg, Penn., August 13, 2010. He is currently in field trial training, going for a Field Championship title!

Jake, the yellow English Labrador Retriever, is Bill’s invaluable hunting, tracking and retrieving companion. There is nary a stick thrown that is not retrieved. There is nary a scent undiscovered. There is not a sweeter dog in the Universe.
